  Hi John,

  I’ll be honest with you, I listen to your show about 90% of the time during my drive to work. This morning, I was very disappointed with you during your segment with Mayor Bloomberg. You did not even flinch and let the mayor ramble on about why it’s wrong to wish the president to fail. He said earlier that everything’s not black and white and that people should come to a compromise.

  I want the president to fail for the following reasons:
  1. I want him to fail in bringing about the ultimate corruption in Washington which is to be deaf to the American people and push his own idealistic agenda.
  2. I want him to fail in holding closed door deals that does not include the other party to offer a compromise.
  3. I want him to fail in taking our country on the path to fiscal disaster.
  4. I want him to fail in putting KSM to trial in NYC.

  I see the current state of the US government as a soft-dictatorship regime. Obama is the supreme minister while he tells his minions to come up with something that meets his agenda. The ‘debates’ are a farce and do not even listen to ideas from the other party.

  You see, if the president LISTENS and WORKS with the other party, then yes – I WANT HIM TO SUCCEED.

  But let me tell you this, you have failed the listeners (at least in my expectations of you) and I will be listening to your show 5% of the time during my morning drive. Just so I can wean myself off to 0%.

  Hey John Gambling,
  I’ve got a question but you make it very difficult to post a question to you! I’m 50, went to school and my parents took extra jobs to pay for 3 kids schooling and we paid for the rest. Our schools were jammed with kids, we PAID for extra activities in school. I turned out just fine, just as you seemed to have. SO what gives? We give more money to the schools than ever, the kids are a mess, Mr. Bloomberg himself said this morning how poorly the kids were doing in school (40% graduation from high school) so just how much MORE money that I don’t have do you want me to pay for other people’s kids? I’m sorry, but the teachers are either not effective so get them out and give the jobs to unemployed people who can do the work or parents start taking care of your children’s education. What ever happened to working for what you want? Stop giving it all away for free and maybe it will have a value to the children and the parents if they are the ones responsible for their own expense. Thank you.

  Our local school budget vote is coming up. I have a hard time voting yes, when I saw with my own two eyes, that a speech and language therapist makes $75 an hour? Huh? They do a horrible job. I know first hand it is difficult to teach S&L in a group setting, the kids dont progress. One on one is the key. You can do much more and help the child in a shorter amount of time.
  What a waste of money, there has to be a better way.
