Description	I’m WOR’s crazy master of the transmitter ) I am responsible for the technical facilities of WOR, our Hartford based stations, and our California stations. I am also responsible for Operations at WOR. I designed the WOR studio facility and transmitter facility, and orchestrated the move of both facilities. I amaze friends and family by approaching an energized tower with a flourescent light bulb – watch it glow with nothing connected to it!

FCC regulations require that, when someone is climbing a tower (we have three – and with AM radio, the tower *IS* the antenna), power must be reduced and antenna operation changed such that the tower or towers being climbed are dead. So….WOR is presently operating at reduced power, probably until around 3PM once the bulb changing is complete.
